Is all attention good?
No!
Attention is only good if it’s relevant and getting you closer to where you want to go. If it’s not, it becomes nothing but a distraction. So when it comes to attention marketing, this is key… make sure you are getting relevant attention.
When I recently drove this sports car, I got lots of attention.
But was it worth my while? No.
Was it helping me reach the right people? No.
Was it playing part of my vision? No.
As such, attention like this means little. Fancy doors that pop up mean nothing if it isn’t making you more relevant to the right people.
This is what I talk about in today’s video.
Driving this car taught me a lot about attention marketing, and marketing as a whole. I didn’t expect it to, but it did.
So I shot a video and revealed all 🙂
